As computing becomes mobile and ubiquitous, users interact with environmental contexts beyond physical interfaces of a mobile device. Mobile interaction does not only augment boundaries of human activity but also exposes them in public spaces. Interaction can be shared, for instance through public display or installation, and these changes and possibilities should be considered in designing novel mobile products. Also, advanced interface elements should be well integrated into a mobile device balancing contradicting user-needs such as portability, simplicity and versatility. Considering these ideas, insightful directions for next generation of mobile interaction have been explored through a framework of user behaviors and related contextual factors.
